The Biosciences in Rehabilitation are
basic sciences which greed to explain adaptation, body injury and repair from
the molecular to the organism level and to identify targets for biomedical interventions to
progress the body structure and function. There is a need to organize
rehabilitation and related research into distinct scientific fields to defeat
the current limitations of rehabilitation research. The biosciences can also be
described as the study of life at all levels of complexity from molecular level
to Organism.
